Memory Shaping is a steam-setting treatment applied to curtain fabric, training the material to hold a particular fold or pleat. Increasingly popular, it creates a neat, hotel-style, sophisticated drape by giving the curtain a “memory” that holds a consistent fold from top to bottom, resulting in a structured, evenly spaced appearance.
Why This Treatment Matters
The treatment also offers a practical benefit: the combination of heat, moisture and airflow helps reduce certain microbial contaminants and release volatile substances from newly manufactured textiles. Under high heat, this process can also accelerate the release of formaldehyde present in the fabric, helping to reduce initial chemical odour.

This is our first time engaging wallux for their service attended by cynthia & vince. We installed motorised blind for our main living room and manual blinds for the dining room. The blinds are of excellent quality. Reliable! No disappointment! Installation done pretty fast too by professional installer. This is my second time order from Wallux and the salesperson representative, Cynthia is friendly and helpful and accommodating to my needs, from selecting the material to delivering the curtains. I have engaged Wallux to replace my existing venetian blinds as they old and mechanism was not working well. They were quick to respond and came to my house fast to take the measurements. Also gave my a variety of colours to choose from. Their pricing which includes installation was very reasonable and I will definitely recommend them. The quality of service provided by Wallux is excellent. When informed of an error in the pasting of the wallpaper, they rectified the issue as soon as the stock was available.
