Korean / Combi Blinds (Day-Night Blinds)
Skip buying a day curtain and a night curtain. Slide the sheer panel across for daytime light, slide the opaque panel across for evening privacy — all with one blind. It’s a practical fix for living rooms that need to do double duty without two sets of window dressing.
Honeycomb / Cellular Blinds
If a west facing room turns into an oven every afternoon, this is the fix. A double layered cellular structure traps a pocket of air that insulates the window far better than any other blind type, so your air conditioner works less hard. How to Choose the Right Blind
For bedrooms
Blackout roller blinds or honeycomb blinds. Sleep quality is directly tied to how dark your room gets — partial dimout rarely cuts it if you're light sensitive.
For living rooms and studies
Dimout or sunscreen roller blinds, or Korean combi blinds. You want light control without losing brightness during the day.
For kitchens and bathrooms
Aluminium venetian blinds. They handle humidity well and wipe clean without degrading.
For balconies and outdoor areas
Ziptrack outdoor blinds — standard indoor blinds won't survive Singapore's rain or UV exposure outdoors.
For west facing windows that trap heat
Honeycomb blinds or sunscreen roller blinds. The difference in room temperature is noticeable.

Yes, but only if the fabric is true blackout and the blind is custom fitted to your window with no side gaps. An off the shelf blackout blind that’s slightly narrower than your window will still let light bleed around the edges. Custom fit installation eliminates this.
