Blinds or Curtains, Which Do You Need?

Choose blinds when
- You want precise, adjustable light control (tilt a slat rather than drawing the whole curtain)
- The room has smaller windows or sliding doors
- You want minimal visual weight. Blinds disappear when open
- It's a bathroom or kitchen where fabric collects moisture
Choose curtains when
- The room has large or floor-to-ceiling windows where fabric makes visual sense
- You want acoustic dampening. Fabric absorbs sound; blinds don't
- The room is a bedroom where you want complete blackout and a softer feel

This is our first time engaging wallux for their service attended by cynthia & vince. We installed motorised blind for our main living room and manual blinds for the dining room. The blinds are of excellent quality. Reliable! No disappointment! Installation done pretty fast too by professional installer. I have engaged Wallux to replace my existing venetian blinds as they old and mechanism was not working well. They were quick to respond and came to my house fast to take the measurements. Also gave my a variety of colours to choose from. Their pricing which includes installation was very reasonable and I will definitely recommend them. The quality of service provided by Wallux is excellent. When informed of an error in the pasting of the wallpaper, they rectified the issue as soon as the stock was available. A full day & night curtain set for a 3-room HDB starts from $1,200 including measurement and installation. Night curtains alone start from $950. Pricing depends on window size, fabric choice, and pleat style.
