An indoor blind moved outside won’t survive a Singapore balcony — sun fades it, monsoon rain warps it. Free on-site measurement and quote, no obligation. For balconies that catch wind and driving rain, our tensioned zip-track blinds lock the fabric flush against the frame on both sides no flapping edges, no rain sneaking in at the sides. It’s the closest thing to a glass enclosure without the cost or the permit headaches.
Sealed on both sides. Fabric held taut in tracks on both sides against wind and rain, with smooth manual or motorised operation.

This is our first time engaging wallux for their service attended by cynthia & vince. We installed motorised blind for our main living room and manual blinds for the dining room. The blinds are of excellent quality. Reliable! No disappointment! Installation done pretty fast too by professional installer. Overall it was a pleasant and smooth experience from the start of enquiry until installation is done. Might be coming to get another blind next time for other room. Thank you Wallux!

I have engaged Wallux to replace my existing venetian blinds as they old and mechanism was not working well. They were quick to respond and came to my house fast to take the measurements. Also gave my a variety of colours to choose from. Their pricing which includes installation was very reasonable and I will definitely recommend them. Installation was done within a week without any issues. Thank you Wallux! Highly recommended for those who intend to change or purchase new blinds

The quality of service provided by Wallux is excellent. When informed of an error in the pasting of the wallpaper, they rectified the issue as soon as the stock was available. Cynthia is very friendly and goes the extra mile for the customers. The installation of the Korean blinds were excellent. I would recommend their services and products.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes — Wallux outdoor blinds use waterproof PVC-coated outdoor fabric, built for Singapore rain, not just shade. Water runs off the coated fabric instead of soaking in.

Yes, Retractable outdoor blinds (including zip-track systems like Ziptrak) are generally permitted on HDB balconies without a specific renovation permit, as long as they’re mounted within the balcony recess and don’t touch structural elements.
Key details to keep in mind:
- Mounting matters most. Ceiling brackets within the recess are the compliant standard. Drilling into the building facade or structural beams usually needs separate HDB approval.
- Must stay retractable. HDB bans anything that permanently encloses the balcony, walls, screens, fixed panels, or full sealing. The system has to open back up.
- “Generally permitted” isn’t a guarantee. Rules can vary by block, so it’s worth getting written confirmation from your installer that the exact mounting method meets current HDB guidelines for your unit.
