How the Double Track Setup Works
The setup uses two curtains on two parallel tracks, one behind the other. The front track holds a sheer day curtain; the back track (closer to the window) holds a full blackout night curtain. Draw the sheer alone for a softly lit room during the day, draw both together for total darkness at night, or draw the blackout alone if you want the room dark during the day too.
It’s the setup most bedrooms in Singapore land on, because it’s the only one that handles both ends of the day without swapping curtains manually you’re not choosing between light control and blackout, you get both on the same window.
Motorised Tracks, If You Want Them
Manually drawing two curtains twice a day is easy enough, but a growing number of Wallux customers are moving to motorised day & night tracks especially for bedrooms, where switching from sheer to blackout without getting out of bed is the whole point.
Motorised tracks cost more upfront than a manual pull, but the switch itself becomes a single button or a scheduled routine instead of two separate pulls across the room. Ask us about motorised options when you book your measurement.
